MESSY. Even 2020 M1 MacBooks are not immune to this chaotic situation. That’s what you get for not ensuring the status of the Find My Mac (FMM) on Mac’s are off. If the FMM is “on” and you don’t know it, you’ve just bought a pile of scrap.
